 You did "Tell me" sentences for your starting activity to practice double verbs and stem-changing verbs.  We went over the homework.  You played "Pásalo Pronto".  You started working on a stem-changing practice sheet.

Homework:  Finish the front side of the practice sheet for tomorrow.  For Monday, February 11th, do Conjuguemos Activity 9 on stem-changing verbs.  Work for 30 minutes, 90 words, 85%.  Print out your results and give them to me.

 We corrected the homework.  You took a stem-changing quiz.  You cut out your flashcards, practiced with them and worked on the other side of the stem-changing practice sheet.

Homework:  Remember that Conjuguemos is due on Monday.

 You did a starting activity to practice sports and sports vocabulary.  We played Bingo with your flashcards and you did puzzles to practice sports vocabulary. 

Homework:  Do the Crossword Puzzle that I gave you for Tuesday, February 12th.

 You did a starting activity to practice sports vocabulary.  You did several activities to practice sports vocabulary and stem-changing verbs.

Homework:  Bring in supplies to make valentine cards.  Finish the reverse side of the blue practice sheet on stem-changing verbs.  Due Wednesday, February 13th.

 You did a starting activity to practice writing sentences about a family.  I returned your last test and we went over it.  We went over the saber and conocer practice sheet that you did for homework.  You did two partner activites to practice family vocabulary and ages.

 You did a starting activity to practice sequencing a verb.  You looked at pictures of different families and described them.  Possessive adjectives were introduced.

 You did a starting activity to practice possessive adjectives.  You practiced possessive adjectives and family vocabulary with a listening activity and several other activities.  You started working on a sentence correction practice sheet.

Homework:  Finish the sentence correction practice sheet.  Study for the test tomorrow on Chapter 5A.

 We went over the sentence correction practice sheet.  You took the 5A test.  I explained the family album writing assignment.  You worked on a paragraph translation about the Simpson family.

Homework:  For Monday, bring in notecards and finish the paragraph translation.  The family album writing assignment is due the 2nd time I see you next week during TCAP testing.

Homework:  Do the 2nd side of the paragraph readings.  Choose ser, estar or tener, translate the sentence and give a reason for your choice.  Due Tuesday, March 19th.

 You did a starting activity to practice the differences between ser, estar and tener.  We went over the homework.  You worked on a translation activity with the differences between ser, estar and tener.

Homework:  Finish the in-class translation activity if you did not finish it in class.  Read the "Fiesta de Cumpleaños" paragraph and fill in the blanks.  Due Wednesday, March 20th.

 We went over the translation activity and the paragraph.  You used white boards and looked at pictures to practice ser, estar and tener.  You started reading a story about a penguin named Ralph.

Homework:  Underline the tener expressions in the story about Ralph and write what they mean.  Draw 6 pictures that you can use to retell the story of Ralph.

 You did a starting activity and then played Tic-tac-toe to practice ser, estar and tener.  We went over the story about Ralph.  Then, you got in groups and took turns speaking about the story using the pictures.

Homework:  Study for the test tomorrow on ser, estar and tener.

 We finished going over 6A vocabulary including colors then you practiced.  You watched the Chapter 6A Video.  You started drawing and labeling your bedroom.

Homework:  Finish drawing, labeling and coloring the picture of your bedroom.  Due Monday, April 15th.

 You did a starting activity to review possessive adjectives.  I returned your tests and we went over them.   We played Bingo and you worked with a partner to practice new vocabulary.  You looked at a picture of a bedroom and we talked about it.

Homework:  Workbook Guided Practice pages 187-190 and Core Practice page 104.  Due Tuesday, April 16th.

 You did a starting activity to practice sequencing a verb.  We went over the homework.  You looked at a picture on a bedroom and answered questions about it.  You practiced reading by solving a logic puzzle.

 You did a starting activity to review weather and subject pronouns.  We went over the homework.  You looked at pictures of bedrooms and did an activity to practice vocabulary.  Comparatives were explained.
