Each of the 6 resource teachers within the Special Services Department participates in a PLC with General Education colleagues from a variety of departments.  We have teachers participating in each of the following PLC teams to develop essential learnings, share instructional strategies, and establish common assessments: English 10/American Literature, Algebra I, Geometry, US History, World History/Geography, and Western Civilizations.  Special Services teachers bring a unique perspective to the PLC format and are able to share their expertise as well as benefit from professional, collegial conversations regarding the subject matter.
