CONGRATULATIONS on your Band Member's selection to perform at this year's 34th Annual 9NEWS Parade of Lights! 

Spectator viewing is FREE all along the two-mile route.  However, many parents, friends and relatives of Band Members call an want to find out the best way that they can come to support and view their Band participants in action.  During the Parade on Friday, December 5 at 8pm or Saturday, December 6 at 6pm, the Grand Stands are the place to be!  This area is our "television zone" and the start of the Parade, so not only is it a great place to take pictures, but it is also where each band performs for the judges.  In addition, during the live telecast, 9NEWS Personalities will highlight each unit in the Parade, including the bands--these announcements can be heard only here--not along any other portion of the route.

If you are unable to make it during the live telecast, you may also want to come on Saturday night, the only difference is that the Parade is not being telecast, but the festive atmosphere, announcing, lights and excitement will be the same!
