Arapahoe Band Musicians Achieve Awards at Solo and Ensemble Music Festival

Centennial, Colorado-Arapahoe Band Musicians performed in the Annual CHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Music Festival at Prairie View High School on April 26, 2008. The following soloists and ensembles achieved superior ratings:

Brass Ensemble: Adam Barsch, Melanie Brown, Sean Egan, Matt Fitzgerald, Dustin Flaum, Josh Mackelburger, Steven Mumblo, Hannah Sabo, Sarah Cheney, Abbe Haller, Jake Kilbarger, Jordan Leak, Nathan Wait, Scott Berres, Vince DeLaTorre, Alex James, and Tim Chilton.

Clarinet Quartet: Matt Darling, Jordan Flatt, Emily Morgan, and Carissa Pierce.

Saxophone Trio: Tyler Gehring, Dylan Halpin, and Matt Hiler.

Woodwind Quintet 1: Roxy Steinberg, Tom Roberts, Matt Cullen, Madison Munn, and Sarah Cheney.

Flute Duet: Abbe Haller, and Emily Haller.

Wind Ensemble Percussion Ensemble: Katie Cassara, Marielle Hendry, Mike Wilson, David Culp, Kevin Matthews, and Wes Leffingwell.

Double Woodwind Quintet: Roxy Steinberg, Lyndsey Sotwick, Tom Roberts, Sean Egan, Matt Cullen, Lisa Stippich, Madison Munn, Nicole Jensen, and Sarah Cheney.

Woodwind Quintet 2: Lyndsey Sotwick, Sean Egan, Lisa Stippich, Nicole Jensen, and Sarah Cheney.

Low Brass Sextet: Dave Ellis, Alex James, Billy Norris, Spencer Jonscher, and Tim Chilton.

Saxophone Ensemble: Nichole Fabrizio, Tyler Gehring, Matt Hiler, Jaime Liljegren, Emily Morgan, Alyssa Barton, Jordan Bridges, Maureen Kosse, and Zach Walker.

Bassoon Quartet: Matt Cullen, Lisa Stippich, Emma Steinebrey, and Zach Walker.

Symphonic Band Percussion Ensemble: Mike Hargreaves, Molly Phenix, Colton Beck, Zach White, and Cameron Brown.

Clarinet Trio: Denae Hill, Donna Villanyi, and Carissa Pierce.

Concert Band Percussion Ensemble: Mark Goetz, Trevor Teply, Kohlton Luper, Cody Stogsdill, Angel Strickland, and Tyler Elliot.

Flute Choir: Roxy Steinberg, Abbe Haller, Lyndsey Sotwick, Kelly Churchill, Emily Haller, Emily Haskins, Michelle Phair, Tom Roberts, Matt Lay, Kanin Prasertsin, Cady Dixon, Chelsea Flaum, Karly Hood, Jordyn Mackelburger, Leah Hill, and Lizzie Bolton.
