Arapahoe Musicians Selected to 2009 All State Orchestra

Centennial, Colorado—Arapahoe Junior Flute Player, Kelly Churchill; Junior English Horn Player, Tom Roberts; Senior Percussionist, Wes Leffingwell; and Senior Harpist, Emily Levin have been selected to perform in the Colorado 2009 All State Symphony Orchestra.  The following Arapahoe High School musicians have been selected to perform in the 2009 All State Philharmonic Orchestra:  Junior Clarinetist Madison Munn; Junior Bassoonist Lisa Stippich; Junior Timpanist Kevin Matthews; and Senior Violinist Dan Huh.  They were among a select number of students chosen statewide.  This is the most musicians Arapahoe has ever had selected to the All State Orchestra.  This year’s All State Orchestra Concert will take place at Griffin Hall, on the CSU campus in Ft. Collins, on Saturday, February 14^th, at 4:00pm. 

Dr. Ed Cannava is Arapahoe’s Director of Bands and Ms. Kelly Parmenter directs the Orchestra.
