LEGACY WINS 1ST ARAPAHOE FESTIVAL

Legacy High School won the inaugural Arapahoe Marching

 Band Festival on September 23rd at LPS Stadium. 

 Air Academy placed second in the event,

and Douglas County took third.

Legacy also won the awards for High Music and High Visual. 

The event was sponsored by the Arapahoe Band Boosters

 as a fundraiser for the band program.  Nineteen schools

participated in the event, and the Arapahoe band performed

 two exhibitions of its "A New Orleans Jazz Revival" show.
