Arapahoe High School Wind Ensemble Selected to Perform at State Music Convention

Centennial, Colorado—The Arapahoe High School Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform a feature concert at the 2008 Colorado Music Educators Association (CMEA) Annual Clinic Conference, to be held at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, January 23-26, 2008.  They will present their special concert at 11:45 a.m. on January 24, at the International Center-North.

Public school bands, orchestras and choirs are selected to perform at the CMEA Clinic Conference based upon audition recordings that are submitted to CMEA in the spring, and are evaluated by a panel of experienced teachers and musicians. Three high school concert bands are selected to perform each year.

Dry Creek Road) on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and further information can be obtained by calling Dr. Ed Cannava, Arapahoe’s Director of Bands, at 303-347-6031.
