Centennial, Colorado—The Continental League, consisting of all Aurora, Douglas County, and Littleton High Schools along with Regis High School, presented its annual Honor Band, Choir and Orchestra Concert on Monday, January 14, 2008, in Boettcher Concert Hall.
Arapahoe High School band musicians selected to perform in this year’s festival included: Emily Haller, Kelly Churchill and Lyndsey Sotwick, Flute; Tom Roberts,Oboe; Lisa Stippich (principal chair) and Matt Cullen, Bassoon; Emily Morgan, Donna Villanyi, Jordan Flatt,, and Carissa Pierce, Clarinet; Mark Weller (principal chair) and Alyssa Barton, Bass Clarinet; Eddie Lyon, Alto Sax; Matt Darling (principal chair), Tenor Sax; Nick Weiber (principal chair), Bari Sax; Josh Mackelburger (principal chair), Trumpet; Sarah Cheney and Blair Larson, Horn; David Ellis (principal chair), Billy Norris and Alex James, Trombone; Spencer Jonscher, Euphonium; Tim Chilton (principal chair) and Grant Furry, Tuba; and David Culp, Percussion.
Dr. Ed Cannava is the band director at Arapahoe.
