PERFORMANCE REVIEW PAPER

 

Your paper must be written about a live performance (minimum of 30 minutes) from one of the following categories:

∙A professional concert/musical

∙A church recital

∙A school concert (middle school level or above)

 

The event must be a special scheduled performance, not an AHS Band Activity (festivals, concerts, etc.) where you are one of the performers.š AHS Talent Show may not be used.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

∙Paper Length-2 pages minimum (3 maximum).š Double spaced-font size no larger than 12.

∙Due Date-10 school days from date you attended performance.

∙Attachments-A ticket, program or performer’s signature must be attached to your paper.

∙Terminology-proper use of terminology related to music is expected.

  1. Description of performance
    1. Musicals-plot interaction with musical aspects of performance.

    1. Personal evaluation of performance.

Strengths and weaknesses related to technique, interpretation and content (support your judgments with specific examples).
