Arapahoe Wind Ensemble Selected to Perform at 2008 State Concert Band
Festival
Centennial, Colorado---The
Arapahoe High School Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform in the
prestigious CBA State Concert Band Festival. Performances will take place at Griffin
Concert Hall, on the CSU Campus, in Fort
Collins, on Tuesday, April 22. Only the top 24 bands were chosen to perform
out of all Colorado High Schools who auditioned.
Dr. Ed Cannava is Director of
Bands at Arapahoe
High School. Instructors
include: Fran Piazza, Flute; Michael Vigliotti, Oboe;
Debbie Torp, Bassoon: Heather Davis, Clarinet; Tait Solberg, Saxophone; Missy Steinbock,
Trumpet; Ron Torp, Horn; Jeff Craig, Low Brass; Fred Bowlus, Percussion; and Nick Hinman,
Student Teacher.
