Assignment:

You will have 1 day to complete this—due Thursday (I'll move the deadline at the end of the hour, if needed. For now, work diligently to get this done in class a little for homework.) You will need:
  1. 2 interesting facts from EACH category (major world events, economics of the time, sports, art/literature, life (jobs, fashion, cost of living, quirky facts, etc.)
  2. A Bibliography and a Works Cited for the cites we used…we will do this in-class on Wed.
  3. 5 photos that capture the 1920’s (from the cited listed)---keep track of the photo names and the cites used for EACH photo.

Wed, Jan 6

Work day to complete the above 3 steps.

I certainly hope you all are good for the sub today. My expectation is that you finish the quizzes above and go to this site: http://www.englishgrammarconnection.com/lessonstart.php to work through more grammar quizzes. According to the scores yesterday, many of us need MUCH practice with grammar!

Once you are on the site, click the 1st drop down menu that says: Select a Subject. Choose Grammar. Then, pick Intermediate or Advanced and go through the quiz. Then, change the Subject to Writing Mechanics and again Intermediate or Advanced. Good luck and do try you absolute best on the CSAP Monday. CSAP matters as it keeps our school rated excellent which helps you when you apply for college. Have a good weekend! ~ Mrs. Davis
