We will continue to research and implement evidence-based best practices and interventions. Our goal for this year is to help facilitate the implementation of the pyramid of interventions to enhance the learning of all students and further their academic success, and social/emotional well-being.

Our past and current successes include the following:

  • Student Self-Assessment Sheet--we developed a tool to assist us in identifying a student's strengths and weaknesses in the areas of self management/organization, study skills, academic issues, and personal issues.
  • Data gathering and analysis--we identified our at-risk students and evaluated their academic history.   We are brainstorming ideas on how to mitigate possible problems based on academic history.
  • Idea generating--we are assessing current strategies/interventions and developing new strategies/interventions to enhance our school's pyramid of interventions for students.
