They cover the state of the district, LPS’s budget reality, the steps taken to reduce costs, and factual information about the $10 million mill levy override (MLO) on this November’s ballot.

Next week begins the first of four Shadow Days this fall at AHS, when we welcome current eighth graders to campus to show them what it means to be a Warrior. Our Shadow Days are designed to give them a taste of student life on campus, and to help them decide if they want to call Arapahoe home during their high school years. We also welcome parents to join their students for their own concurrent session.
If you have a rising freshman in your family, or if you know of one in your neighborhood or community circles, please invite them to attend. We have four days available, with a morning and afternoon session each day: September 24, October 6, October 22, and November 13.

Club Cafe today at AHS! Being part of clubs, activities and club sports all contribute to student connection and leadership. If you missed it today, you can still sign up for a club all week in the main entrance hallway.
🏈 We love seeing our students, families, staff, and community members in the stands supporting our teams! Before you arrive at an LPS sporting event, please remember:
👉 High school students should bring a current student ID.
👉 Students in 8th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
👉 Clear bags only; student backpacks are not allowed.
👉 Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Water containers must be factory sealed or empty.
👉 Foul language and taunting are prohibited.
👉 Drugs, alcohol, and weapons are not allowed on school premises.
👉 Please stay off the field or court unless authorized to be there.
👉 Students will not be admitted after halftime, even with a ticket.
Most importantly, bring your school spirit and help us keep LPS sporting events safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone! 💙🧡
